The word “tidings” originates from old English and refers to the announcement of events or news.

For more than 25 years I have had the pleasure of working with children and families. A hectic career, in addition to being a proud Mom of two active, now grown up, boys made it easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of daily life. Age and experience have taught me the importance of slowing down, inhaling deeply and savouring life’s moments as they happen, day by day, for too quickly they pass. Currently, my precious spare time is spent with my family-usually cooking, eating and laughing, cuddling my adorable (not at all biased!) pets and getting outside as much as I can to enjoy the bounty of Mother Nature.

My passion for photography is the result of my life’s journey. What started as a hobby grew (and continues to grow) as I learn and evolve. For me photography is a means of documenting, celebrating, sharing and preserving the moments that shape our lives… These photos are our tidings.
